LOUISVILLE, KY – May 8, 2018 – Employees of eMoney Advisor, a leading provider of scalable wealth technology solutions, recently surprised the team at ARGI Financial Group at their home office in Louisville, KY. eMoney frequently visits clients, however, the surprise visit to ARGI was unique. It was planned after eMoney learned that ARGI signed its eMoney contract on Jan. 17, 2018 – the day that eMoney officially reached 50,000 users on its platform. Thanks to ARGI’s crew of new users, eMoney surpassed this milestone.
“We are truly grateful for each and every client we’ve gained over the years to help us reach this monumental milestone,” said Ed O’Brien, CEO of eMoney. “We’ve nearly doubled our number of users since 2015, and it’s been exciting to watch eMoney grow and evolve. When we learned that ARGI’s new users put us over 50,000, we wanted to do something fun to show our appreciation.”
After coordinating the visit with a few ARGI employees who promised not to let word get out, representatives from eMoney’s financial planning, client services and marketing teams arrived at ARGI’s office on Friday, April 27, the same day their 150 employees were participating in a quarterly all-hands meeting.
The eMoney team was introduced after the morning session concluded. Connor Sung, a senior financial planning consultant who had previously met with the ARGI team to assist with onboarding and training, explained the reason for eMoney’s visit, noting that there were a few surprises in store. In addition to a picnic lunch with all the fixings, eMoney provided a popsicle truck from Steel City Pops and eMoney giveaways, including t-shirts, mugs and lunch bags. But perhaps the biggest and most well received surprise occurred when the Kentucky Humane Society stopped by with a few adorable puppies for the ARGI team to play with at lunchtime.
To end the day, eMoney provided personalized training for a select group of ARGI’s eMoney users. It focused on their areas of interest within the eMoney platform and concluded with an open Q&A session.
“As a growing financial advisory firm, ARGI is always looking for ways to improve and build upon our service to clients,” said Joe Reeves, CFP®, and CEO of ARGI. “We put a lot of time and effort into our search for a new planning software that could scale with us as our firm grows. eMoney has been very helpful in providing training and support during our transition. It was great to meet with their team in-person to help strengthen our relationship for the future.”
