RADNOR, Pa. – Feb. 6, 2020 – eMoney Advisor (eMoney), a leading provider of technology solutions and services that help people talk about money, today announced that in 2019 the firm gained 15,000 new users — for a total of more than 70,000 — the most added in one year in its 20-year history. Additionally, 2.5 million plans were created on the eMoney platform last year. With this unprecedented momentum, the company has strengthened its core leadership team, appointing Susan McKenna, the firm’s Head of Marketing, to a newly created role of Head of Marketing and Business Development, and naming Joanne Del Signore as Head of People Experience. Both women help comprise eMoney’s core leadership team alongside six other department heads that report directly to CEO Ed O’Brien.
McKenna joined eMoney as Head of Marketing in 2018 leading the firm’s client acquisition and engagement strategies, focusing on demand generation, client and corporate communications, product marketing, sales development, content creation, creative, and brand. In her expanded role as Head of Marketing and Business Development, McKenna will lead both the Marketing and Advisor Sales teams to accommodate the underlying demand for financial advice and drive revenue and growth.
“Susan’s deep expertise in both marketing and sales and track record of driving demand make her uniquely positioned to succeed in this new role. I’m excited to see what we will continue to accomplish under her leadership,” said CEO Ed O’Brien.
With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, Del Signore joined eMoney in 2018 as Director of Talent Strategy. She has served in an integral role attracting top talent to support the dynamic needs of the business. Now as Head of People Experience and a member of eMoney’s core leadership team, Del Signore oversees a team dedicated to fostering growth in the people and functions that allow the organization to thrive, including talent strategy and recruiting, employee relations, learning and development, total rewards, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion.
“To achieve the best outcomes for the advisors who depend on us at eMoney, we must start by creating and nurturing a culture where our own people are inspired to come to work every day,” said O’Brien. “Joanne has been instrumental in shaping our People Experience organization, and I’m thrilled to have her leading the team.”
In 2019, eMoney also opened brand new office locations in Providence, Rhode Island and at Liberty Station in San Diego. The company ended the year with a team of more than 900 people – dedicated to the mission of helping people talk about money. eMoney’s leadership team brings together decades of experience in financial planning, client services, and SaaS business.
