eMoney Code of Conduct

PURPOSE

The purpose of the eMoney Code of Conduct is to help ensure that all interactions between our employees, contractors and staff (“eMoney Representatives”) and our clients and partners and their employees, contractors and staff (collectively, “Clients”) are positive, informative and safe. eMoney is dedicated to providing a respectful and harassment-free experience for everyone regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. In order to promote positive interactions between Clients and eMoney Representatives, all Clients and eMoney Representatives are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct at all times, including at all in-person events, while on the telephone, and during online and electronic interactions such as texts, chats, email and other messaging and on online forums. In addition to this Code of Conduct, all eMoney Representatives are required to abide by company policies at all times.

BEHAVIOR

Integrity is one of our core values at eMoney. We conduct ourselves with integrity and aim to do what is right at all times. Clients and eMoney Representatives are required to behave respectfully during all interactions. At eMoney events, attendees are expected to comply with the instructions of eMoney employees and venue staff and are required to comply with all applicable laws. Harassment, abusive, sexual or intimidating language and imagery are not appropriate and will not be tolerated in any interactions, including at any eMoney events, whether the harassment is in person, by telephone, by email, text or online.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Abusive language and behavior
  • Sexual images in public spaces
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, leering or following
  • Harassing photography or recording
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events
  • Inappropriate physical contact
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or comments
  • Offensive sexual attention or comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion
  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior

REPORTING

If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome or engages in harassing behavior, please report it immediately. In accordance with eMoney policies, eMoney Representatives should contact People Experience, your manager or call the Employee Hotline. Clients should follow their company’s internal procedures as well as contacting eMoney Customer Support.  If the inappropriate behavior occurs at an eMoney event, it should be immediately reported to an eMoney staff member or by calling the eMoney Customer Support number.  eMoney staff can be identified by their special eMoney badges identifying them as event coordinators.

ENFORCEMENT

eMoney retains the right to take any actions to ensure a safe and respectful experience for all individuals. Anyone engaging in behavior that is deemed out of compliance with the Code of Conduct will be asked to stop all harassing behavior and will be expected to comply immediately. Enforcement may include, but is not limited to, issuing a written or verbal warning to the offender, terminating any communication, expelling the offender from an event with no refund, and if the offender is a Client, possible termination of the offender’s eMoney subscription. If the offender is an eMoney Representative, consequences may subject you to discipline, up to and including termination of employment.  Respectful behavior increases the value of interactions for everyone.
