eMoney Wins Stevie® Award for Great Employers for Employee Engagement

Sept. 17, 2024 – eMoney Advisor, a leading provider of technology solutions and services that help people talk about money, proudly took home the bronze award in the Employee Engagement category for their new hire onboarding program at the ninth annual Stevie® Awards for Great Employers. The ceremony was held in New York City on September 16, 2024, where eMoney’s director of talent strategy, Mike O’Callaghan, accepted the award on eMoney’s behalf.

The Stevie® Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work. This year, more than 1,000 nominations from organizations of all sizes in 35 nations were submitted for consideration. This is eMoney’s second Stevie Award for Great Employers. In 2023, the organization was recognized for their health and wellbeing efforts.

To foster a seamless transition for new hires, we’ve designed a three-prong approach for our new hire onboarding program, which is outlined below:

  1. Each new employee gets an Onboarding Buddy from their department. This dedicated guide helps them smoothly adjust to their role and our company culture.
  2. Employees are added to a dedicated New Hire chat. This channel allows them to ask questions and receive immediate answers. Plus, it’s a fantastic way for them to connect with fellow new hires. Instant responses. Immediate connections. All in one place.
  3. All new employees embark on a 90-day onboarding journey through our Learning Management System (LMS). This program features over 30 pieces of content, including insightful videos from leadership, informative videos that cover company history, in addition to easy-to-digest overviews of benefits and compensation philosophy.
  4. Since 2022, this program has dramatically reduced our turnover rates, decreasing new hire and overall departures by 14%.
